Where can I donate old clothes?

You can offer clothes, shoes and other items directly to other Reusers members. Describe what you are giving away, its size and condition, and where it is available. The listing helps interested people decide whether it suits them.

Arrange the handover with the recipient. Check who will collect the item and whether transport is needed; a donation listing does not arrange collection or transport for you.

How to give an item away on Reusers

1. Open the Reusers app and sign in. Start a listing and choose Donate.
2. Show the actual item. Add clear photos, including any wear, damage or missing parts. For clothes, include the size and what pieces are included.
3. Complete and review the listing. Choose the category, condition and location, describe the item accurately and publish when ready.
4. Agree on a handover. Discuss questions and pickup arrangements in chat. After the handover, update the listing in the app so others know it is no longer available.

Prepare the item and its description

• Check that the item is suitable for someone else to use. Clean it where appropriate.
• Describe its actual condition, including faults. Do not describe an item as new or working unless that is accurate.
• Make clear whether the listing is for one item, a set or several separate choices.
• For devices, remove your accounts and personal data before handing them over.

Arrange a careful handover

Keep the agreed details in Reusers chat and meet in a suitable public place. Share only the contact and location details needed for the arrangement. Never share passwords, PINs or one-time codes. Use Report if you suspect misleading information or suspicious behaviour.
