Rent Designer Outfits & Fashion in Nigeria
Rent the dress, suit, or accessory you need for one night — without paying the full retail price for something you'll wear once.
When does renting make sense?
- Nigerian weddings. You're an aso-ebi guest, not the bride — you don't need to own that gele, fascinator, or clutch.
- Photo shoots and content creation. Rent designer bags, shoes, or outfits for a single shoot day without the five-figure commitment.
- Corporate events and galas. A ₦15,000 rental beats a ₦150,000 purchase for a black-tie dinner.
- Introduction ceremonies, engagement dinners, birthday shoots — any one-off event where ownership doesn't pay off.
How Reusers rentals work
- Browse rentals by location. Start with rentals in Lagos, Oyo, or Abuja. Most owners prefer local pickup.
- Message the owner. Confirm your dates, the rental fee, and any deposit required.
- Agree on pickup and return. Most Reusers owners rent for 24–72 hours with a refundable deposit (typically 50–100% of retail value).
- Return it clean. Deposits come back once the owner confirms the item is in the same condition.
What you can rent
- Wedding-guest gowns and evening dresses (₦8,000 – ₦40,000)
- Agbada sets and traditional wear (₦10,000 – ₦60,000)
- Designer bags — Gucci, LV, Dior, Chanel (₦15,000 – ₦80,000)
- Heels, loafers, and occasion shoes (₦5,000 – ₦25,000)
- Statement jewelry, fascinators, and gele (₦3,000 – ₦15,000)
Renting safely on Reusers
- Meet the owner in person before paying a deposit. Public locations only.
- Take photos of the item at pickup. If there's pre-existing damage, document it in the Reusers chat so it's timestamped.
- Never wire money to a bank account shared outside the Reusers chat.
- Report any owner asking you to move off Reusers — dispute resolution only works for chats inside the app.
Want to rent out your wardrobe?
If you own designer pieces you only wear a few times a year, you can rent them out on Reusers and earn from what's already in your closet. See our seller guide for listing basics — the flow is identical, just toggle "Rent" instead of "Sale" when you list.
